Nyscandin, our new product offering, is an Rx medicine, available in a ready-to-use oral suspension form, indicated for yeast infections of gastrointestinal tract.
This liquid suspension is formulated with nystatin which may treat yeast GI-tract candidiasis, oral thrush or candidiasis (on the mucous membranes of gums, tongue, lips) and esophageal infections (infectious esophagitis).It is also recommended as a prophylactic medicine for patients who may need to take high doses of antibiotics or corticosteroid medicines and in infants weighing less than 1500 g at birth to whom a first choice treatment cannot be administered. 1 mL of the suspension contains 100 000 IU of nystatin (Nystatinum).
