Active substance
Each tablet contains 200 mg of nifuroxazide (Nifuroxazidum).
Indications
Acute or chronic diarrhoea accompanying bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract (inter alia traveller’s diarrhoea, food diarrhoea, gastritis, IBD). This medicinal product is indicated for used in adults and children aged over 6 years.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, nitrofuran derivatives or any of the excipients. No indicated for use in children aged under 6 years. Contraindicated in patients diagnosed with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (due to the risk of experiencing haemolytic anaemia).
