Medispirant stepspray
Medispirant stepspray is the only OTC drug available on the Polish market in the form of a skin liquid containing metenamine. Medicinal product is applied externally to the skin of the feet, and it reduces excessive sweat production by inhibiting sweat gland activity, eliminates sweat odor by inhibiting bacterial growth. Furthermore, it indicates disinfecting, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and drying properties. It stimulates sensory nerve endings, causing a feeling of coolness. It has a mild local anesthetic effect, reduces the symptoms of itchy skin.

Active substance
1 g of the skin liquid contains 10 mg of menthol (Mentholum), 10 mg of salicylic acid (Acidum salicylicum) and 20 mg of metenamine (Methenaminum) as well as auxiliary substances: ethanol 96% and purified water.
Indications
The medicinal product is intended for external use on the skin in the event of excessive sweating of the feet.
