Paracetamol Aflofarm tablets

Oblong, biconvex tablets with a score. The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Paracetamol is used for the short-term treatment of low to moderate pain such as:

headaches;
muscular, osteoarticular pains;
dysmenorrhea;
toothaches
pain following dental and surgical procedures.

Fever e.g. during a cold or flu.

Dosage and administration:
Oral use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: from 1 to 2 tablets at a time (from 500 to 1000 mg of paracetamol). If necessary, the dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours, no more than 4 times a day.

The usual dose is 1 tablet (500 mg of paracetamol) 4 times a day, every 4 to 6 hours. Do not use more than 8 tablets a day (4 g of paracetamol).

Children from 6 to 12 years old: Half a tablet (250 of paracetamol) once.

The dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours, no more than 4 times a day. Do not use more than 4 tablets a day (2 g of paracetamol).

The medicinal product should not be used in children under 6 years of age. The medicinal product should not be used without consulting a doctor for more than 10 days in case of pain ailments, 3 days for persistent fever and 2 days for cold symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough).

Active substance

One tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol (Paracetamolum).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity towards the active substance or to any of the excipients ·

Severe liver or kidney failure
Viral hepatitis
Alcohol addiction
Children under 6 years
