Aflofarm Farmacja Polska introduces the drug Desmoxan in a new form. Thus far, it was available in pharmacies in the form of hard capsules yet following August the product will also be available as easy to swallow tablets.
Desmoxan is an over-the-counter medicine recommended for weaning off smoking and reducing nicotine craving in people who wish to stop smoking. The purpose of the medicinal product is to permanently stop using nicotine products. Desmoxan tablets contain the same active substance – cytosine - and have the same therapeutic indication as Desmoxan, hard capsules. Available as small tablets, Desmoxan ensures a more convenient manner of use, which is important for the Patients taking it.One pack of the product (100 tablets) is sufficient for a full 25-day treatment. Each tablet contains 1.5 mg of cytisine (Cytisinum).
