Envil throat, oral spray solution
Antiseptic and local anaesthetic product containing zinc. For use in throat and mouth inflammations. May also be used as a complementary drug in the treatment of tonsillitis and upper airway infections with sore throat.

Active substance
1 ml of spray contains 2.9 mg cetylpyridinium chloride(Cetylpyridinii chloridum), 1.96 mg lidocaine hydrochloride (Lidocaini hydrochloridum) and 25.6 mg zinc gluconate (Zinci gluconas) (equivalent to 3.7 mg of zinc ions). A single dose (puff of spray) contains 0.17 ml of the solution. 3 puffs of sprays (0.5 ml of the solution) contain 1.5 cetylpyridinium chloride, 1.0 mg lidocaine hydrochloride and 13.065 mg zinc gluconate (equivalent to 1.875 mg of zinc ions).
Indications
For use in throat and mouth inflammations. Envil throat oral spray may be used as a complementary drug in the treatment of tonsillitis and upper airway infections with sore throat.
Contraindications
Do not use Envil throat:
- in patients allergic to cetylpyridinium chloride, lidocaine hydrochloride and zinc gluconate (active substances), other local amide anaesthetics or to any of the other ingredients in the product.
- in patients with severe liver or kidney problems.
- in patients with methemoglobinemia – a very rare blood condition resulting in inability of blood to carry oxygen to the tissues.
